Best Tablet Computers

This is an original article by the author of eBook Reader Software. It is not available for re-use without permission.

Tablet computers are now starting to take off in a big way. The Apple iPad was the first tablet to really make it into the mainstream consumer electronics world, as far as a tablet that many people bought and used at home. Since that device became popular, more companies are releasing tablets as alternatives to home computers. They are also being used by the medical community and have potential to be used as great teaching and business tools. Tablets are already excellent devices to use for games, ebook reading, listening to music, and watching movies.

I will be attempting to keep this lens updated on a regular basis as new tablets come out, and as current tablets are updated with new model releases. I hope that you can use it as a quick reference to compare specs on different tablets.

Some Notes About This Lens

The prices shown are the most current prices I could find at the time that I last updated this lens. I attempted to go with the most "official" price from the main website for each device, rather than any sales or promotional prices. You can always shop around to find a better price!

At the time that I created this lens, the tablets shown above were the most current and/or popular. I will be trying to keep this updated as new tablets come on the market.

I have included the technical specifications that would be most important to me when shopping for a tablet. If there is something else that you need to know you can visit each manufacturer's website for full details.
