Wooden Lure Making is great eBook that covers all the ins and outs to making your own wooden crankbaits. While the book may focus on topwater wooden crankbaits, the techniques can be easily applied to any wooden lure making project.

I have purchased a couple other books about how to make your own wooden lures but none else covered it with as much detail as this one does.

Instructions in some of the other fishing making books are pretty basic. Get a broom handle or dowel rod and whittle your fishing lure to the desired shape and then sand and paint with an aerosol paint from the hardware store, add hooks and hardware and you are done. Well I'll be honest that's a little too simplified for my liking.
