    I show nothing about tags in my stats. I have put tags in all my lenses the they are still not checked as completed. I've tried changing them adding more taking them out and putting them in again, but my lenses still register that I need to put in five tags. I cannot find out what I am doing wrong. It is so frustrating because it means I cannot complete my lenses.

    I've read a few things about 'tagging' Squidoo lenses, but this review is very comprehensive and helpful. Thank you very much. The Google keyword tool is great! I may (finally) learn how to do a bit of SEO).

    I recently made my own lens about squidoo tagging and I searched for related lenses to link it to, and I want to say that I think this is without a doubt the most useful tagging-related lens that I found. I also discovered SquidooCool.com through this lens; there's a ton of stuff on there so I'd encourage others who haven't checked it out yet to do so. And good luck with that site too!

    I have to watch the tags I add from people's searches. Often they are misspelled and have to be corrected.

    What a great explanation. Are you expected to use all the tags in your lens or are they only for searching within Squidoo?

    I find myself adding less tags to my lenses these days -- and adding more keyword or tag phrases. I like to experiment with tags.

    Fantastic advice here for making your squidoo lens be more successful. I suspect that many squidooer's don't understand the power of tags. My first squidoo lens is now showing on the first page of google's search results for its primary keyword.
