Quality through and through I bought this recently after months of indecision. I've always wanted an "heirloom" watch, something classic that would last me an age. But of course, these things cost an awfully large amount of money. I finally decided I would take the plunge and lumped for this Grand Carrera.
The watch is wonderful. The styling is just right. Classic and yet modern enough to stand out from older pieces. The time and date are easy to adjust and, while I'm no expert, the watch seems to lose very little time.
I also found that changing out the bracelet is very easy and can be done with a jeweler's screwdriver. For an additional $500 you can buy a stainless steel bracelet, or brown alligator band and clasp, that give you additional looks for the watch. Not cheap I know, but they will come down in price after the watch has been out a while.
Overall, a great buy and I'd recommend it to others.
