Traditional Tajik Music

Tajik traditional and classical music draws heavily on influences from the great Persian poets such as Rumi and Hafiz. Tajiki, like Dari and Parsi, is a Central Asian dialect of the Iranian national language, Farsi, and all Persian-speaking peoples consider the great Persian poets their own.
