Taking A Bath: A Forgotten Art

Bathing is a forgotten art and people don't usually realize that. Its benefits are far more than just cleaning oneself. Here I will list the things that makes bath important.

To be clean and to smell good 

A primary reason for taking baths

A relaxing bath means washing your stink away. Some of you might be satisfied with the measly quick showers that you've gotten used to but let's face it, sometimes a shower isn't really enough. Bathing is a great way of soothing one's body. Even the imagination of laying in the tub with an aromatherapy product is so relaxing, what more if you actually do it.

To relax after work 

You can include bath in your after-work regimen

Bathing is a great way to relax, after work or after any strenuous activity. Adding aromatherapy to your bath makes you feel better inside-out. It freshens you up which is what you need and is a fresh sight after all that paperwork that piles up in your desk.

To start or end the day right 

You can start and end the day right by taking a relaxing bath

You always you want to end the day right and in a positive way. It's some sort of a reward for all your hardwork. You can always use bathing as something you are looking forward to when you arrive home.

Bathing can also be a very good energy booster in the morning.

To slow down 

We need to slow down every once in a while

This doesn't mean that you have to do things in half-speed. Well, sort of. When you bath, you will tend to lax and not mind the time. Which is opposite with what you are used to: deadlines; 5-minute breaks; schedules. We live in a fast paced world that it is nice to have something that takes us out from it.

To De-stress 

One way to de-stress is take a relaxing bath

Stress is not good. Stress causes us to be unproductive with a lot of aspects in our lives. To make it short, stress makes us terrible. You wouldn't want that. And what better way to de-stress than to take a relaxing bath. It refreshes us.

To have time for yourself

How much time do you spend for yourself everyday? You probably haven't realized it yet but all we do is directed towards everyone, except well, for ourselves. Although interaction is not a bad thing, it's just that we too need some time dedicated only for ourselves. Bathing does just that, it relaxes you and makes you think of good things.

To relieve body aches 

Body aches are removed in the bath

Stress and overuse might cause a part of your body to ache. When your feet ache when arriving home, don't just want to soak in the tub filled with hot water? Bathing is a nice way to heal.'

To procrastinate 

You might want to procrastinate in the bath

You're probably thinking, "To procrastinate, why would I want that?". Okay, procrastination is probably something bad but only if you do it all the time. It is good to procrastinate in the bath. No worries. It's just you, the tub, and your favorite bath salts.
