Call me crazy. But, I 100% believe that our pet kids read our minds. I realize that a lot of their reactions are in response to our actions. And that most are creatures of habit and timing. However, I have had too many experiences outside of these explanations. I could name one after the other, for a long time. I can't tell you how many times, I didn't even know I was expecting company, but my doggie did. In fact, it just happened the other day...continued below.

Do Our Pets Read Our Minds?
I am 100% convinced that they do! What do you think?
I was working on the computer as usual. My little Westie (Jazzi) was resting peacefully after a full day of playing in the back yard, on/off. My Jazzi has a special bark/cry reserved just for my brother. It's the most distinctive, unbelievable, basically a scream (if a dog can scream), you've ever heard. She adores him, and only does this for him. He was nowhere on the horizon, as far as I knew. It was not a scheduled time for him to visit, or anything like that. All of a sudden, out of left field, no reason, she jumps up from her sleep, starts her barking and what I call the screaming, for her Uncle Regi. I explained to her calmly that Uncle Regi was not here. But, she would not relent.
Okay you say, no big deal. She heard his vehicle and obviously he was here, right? Well, partially true. Yes, sure enough, about 15 minutes later, Regi was knocking on the door. Understand, I had gone out back, to the front, and looked for him when she was barking and screaming, and no Regi. So, I opened the door to let him in, assuming he had been here 15 minutes, maybe doing something outside of the house. So, I asked him. "What are you into outside?" He just kinda looked at me, with a blank stare. "What do you mean?". So, I explained that Jazzi knew he was here 15 minutes ago. And he says, "Well I just drove up." I'm like, what?!!! "You mean, just this second, this minute, you just pulled up?" He said, "yep". I asked him again. "Regi, are you absolutely sure you haven't been here for a few minutes?" He's kinda laughed, and said yeah, he was pretty sure he knew where he was. And he had just gotten here. Then he goes on to explain that he was thinking about Jazzi, and how it'd been a long time since he had seen her. He agrees with me. He thinks they read our minds too. So, maybe that makes us both crazy! That's my most recent example. You explain it, lol. Share you're stories with us. I'll create a special module below, just for that.
Take care,
Jen

Yes! I am 100% convinced that they can read our minds. At least, mine can. Maybe it's just the relationships I have with my pet kids. Maybe it's not true with all pet owners and their pet kids. I don't know. But, I promise you, it is true with me and my dogs. And Jazzi is not the first. Tillie was the first. And the mind reading between the two of us was spine chilling. So, what about you? What do you think?

Communicating On The Other Side - The Rainbow Bridge

Just this side of Heaven, The Rainbow Bridge.
The Rainbow Bridge Poem
All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor. Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.
They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent. His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.
You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.
Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....

I believe we will be able to communicate completely with all animals. I often fantasize about the loving conversations I will have with my pet kids, when we meet at the Rainbow Bridge. ~ Jen
