Bible is the word of God put into printing. But the biggest problem - officially recognized problem - is the problem of translations.
There is a well-known language experiment that explains the whole issue clearly.
Take a piece of text of about 5 standard pages, find 20 independent translators and then do the following:
1. Tell translator #1 to translate the text from language A to language B
2. Give the text translated by #1 to translator #2 and tell to tranlsate back to language A
3. Text translated by #2 give to translator #3 and tell to translate to language B
4. Text translated by #3 give to #4 and tell to translate to language A
...
Do that with all 20 translators.
The experiment will show that if these transaltors could not compare their works during the experiment and if they do not know the original text, then...
By the end of the experiment you will a piece of text that is hugely different from the text that you gave to translator #1 at the beginning of the experiment.
Now imagine what happened to Bible during dozens of ages and hundreds of translators and lots of languages!
