Season Premier of Ghost Hunters

The season premier of Ghost Hunters was a success. The team is noticeably smaller, and everyone seemed to get along and have fun

The Paranormal Investigators of TAPS went to Iron Island Museum in Buffalo, NY. Present were Jay, Grant, Tango, Steve, Kris, and Kris. TAPS seemed to work smoothly and without interruption to set up the equipment. (How much of that was editing, we'll never know)

The Ghost Hunters captured several interesting events on camera and on EVP. It is rare to actually have them catch it on camera. All in all, great opener. I tried not to, but I even liked the women on the crew. I miss Donna, but Kris did very well, both of them did!

TAPS and Ghost Hunter's Background

Cast members past and present

Noticeably missing from the premier were Donna La Croix, and Brian Harnois. Donna left last year due to health reasons, and presumably, Brian left due to family reasons. Officially, on Sci-Fi website, he is a non topic, they will NOT talk about him)

Update: Donna Lacroix will be on the Halloween special of Ghost Hunters!!!!

The previous seasons saw so many crew members come and go that one barely got to know their names before they were replaced. Let's hope this year they stick with the good group they are starting with.

TAPS (The Atlantic Paranormal Society) was started by Jason Hawes and Grant Wilson after they each had paranormal experiences. Neither of them have publicly disclosed any information about their experiences. They are both plumbers for Roto Rooter, (yes, still) and do their ghost hunting at night.

People have asked why Jay and Grant are not on Ghost Hunters International, a show spawned from the original Ghost Hunters. The answer seems to me, to be quite obvious. They work day jobs, they live in the United States. How could they possibly commute back and forth across the ocean to do International Ghost Hunting?

It was widely rumored (publicity stunt?) that the show would be canceled after the fourth season, but obviously, that was untrue.

The biggest complaints heard about the previous seasons was the tensions between team members, and also Jay's seemingly oblivious demeanor toward everything. Speaking in monotone, almost as if uninterested, piqued the curiosity of many a viewer. Jay's tone seems to have improved. In fact, Jason Hawes just seems a much happier person. (so far)

Ghost Hunters Took the lead, redefining "reality tv" and it was this series that started the entire "Paranormal" Television craze. A collection of the series is like an investment!

Ghost Hunters Live Halloween 208

Unfortunately, considering all of the work that I know went into it, I think it was a bust. The "Miz" appearance, and subsequent disappearance didn't help. Personally, I don't know why they chose Fort Deleware. I think the Stanley would have been much better.

To be perfectly honest I have not watched every episode this year. I don't feel it's the same anymore. Hopefully, it's just my imagination and I'll once again start to anticipate Wednesday evenings again. Let's hope so anyway.

The TAPS Crew

Current Ghost Hunters

Together with Jay and Grant are returning veterans, Dave Tango and Steve Gonsalves. They have been with the TAPS family for quite some time now. Steve is an ex Cop who has many phobias, including fear of spiders, planes, and other things. He is amusing, however, and seems to know his job very well. Dave Tango was recruited from another Paranormal Investigator group when Jason and Grant noticed his unique abilities.

Kris 1 has been a crew member since last year, although she was not the regular case worker at that time. She seems to be pretty serious about her work, and not the easily "freaked out" type. Kris 2, I don't remember seeing on the show before, but she has obviously worked with them before because there is an excellent rapport. She too, seems relatively unafraid to face what may come.

The show seems to be starting off on a positive note, and I'm hoping it stays that way.

Ghost Hunters Video

Jason and Grant are plumbers by day, Ghost Hunters by night! They are average joes who investigate and try to debunk claims of otherworldly activity.

Stiller Mill~Episode 2

Had Jason scratching his head

I really enjoyed last nights show (Sept 10) They investigated Stiller Mills, and apparently caught a very cooperative and friendly ghost! They had the K2 and were asking questions, and even though they asked the questions different ways, they still got the same consistent answers! Apparently, it was a 9 year old boy named Edward or Edgar (They also got him on EVP) who indicated he was lonely at the Mills.

The funny part came when Jason said to him..."Well, hey, I've got 5 kids, you want to come home with me, and play with them?" The device indicated a yes, so Jason says "I better text the wife and let her know I may be bringing something home with me!" lol. Jay was obviously tickled by the entire encounter. He kept Putting his hands up in the air, and smiling, because they kept getting responses. A very good show.

The Crew for this show was Jay, Grant, Kris and Joe (Chin) along with Tango and Steve.

I love watching your show but the way Jason treats Brian i can live without. Brian is always trying to please Jason and doing the best he can. There is two things that could make the show better for me and that is if Jason pulls his foot out of Brians a-- and his nose out of Steves a-- .
