Learning To Read Tarot Cards
Learning to read tarot cards is not as difficult as it may seem but it does involve alot of trust on your part.
There are hundreds of different sets of tarot cards and you may find some are easier to read than others but more often that not, you will be drawn towards a set that will suit you the best. If not then I can recommend Rider Waite tarot cards as a great starter pack, I still use mine today.
Starting To Read Your Cards
When you get your cards you need to shuffle them several times so that your energy vibrations are mixed into the vibrations of the cards. The more you shuffle them the more connected you will be with your cards.
You probably received a booklet explaining all the cards when you got your cards. Don't look at it! To me, these booklets stiffle your own intuition and you begin to rely on the booklet to interpret the cards instead of your intuition.
Next, find a quiet place to relax and practise your card readings.
Believe it or not, you may find it easier to do a reading for someone you don't know as when you are reading for a close friend or relative you know too much about them and you will begin to question what you are getting is from reading the tarot cards or from your knowledge of them.
If you have a willing sitter or volunteer then great, if not we can pull a card for yourself.
Shuffle the cards and when you feel its time to stop shuffling, stop. If you want to cut the pack then do it, but it's not necessary. Pull the first card and place it infront of you.
It's best to start pulling just one tarot card and then you can build it up after practise to a full spread.
I want you to look over the card in detail, your eyes will be drawn to a certain part of the card and this is where you start your reading.
Describe what you can see and how you think it relates to your sitter.
You could pull the same card for 20 different people and each reading would be different.

Using Your Cards on a Daily Basis
Take as much information as you can from the card, what is your eyes pulled towards, what do you think the card is telling you etc and write it all down. At night, before bed, read your notes and see compare it with how your day went and see if you can tie the 2 together.
Reading Your Tarot Cards Practically!
- Who will be the first person I meet when I leave the house?
and look at the images on the cards. Is it male or female or a group? Are they dark or blonde? Young or old?
- How long will it be before something happens?
and see if there is a number on the cards which could mean days, weeks or months away.
Keep track of everything you get and it's great to look back after a few weeks and see how well you are doing.
More importantly, practise your card reading on as many people as you can get hold of. The more readings you do, the more indepth information you will get as time goes on.
What Cards Are Your Favourite?
I have several sets of cards that I use regularly and wondered what your favourite cards were.

I'm 16 and I have been reading Tarot cards for about two months now and the definitions of the cards and everything are starting to get really clear and easier to remember when I do a spread for someone. Usually it's a friend of a friend who heard I do readings for 50 cents each. The readings are getting steadily more accurate aswell.
