A brief History of the Tattoo Machine...
in 1891, an inventor by the name of Samuel O'Reilly invented and patented the first electric tattoo machine, which was a modified version of the electric pen (originally made for embroidering and engraving.)that was created by the well known inventor of the time, Thomas Edison. His original patents in 1886 and '87 was the basis of O'reillys' patient in 1891 and later developed into Wagner's Tattoo machine in 1904.

I think that the most interesting machine that I have seen so far is the Cheyenne Hawk. I have never used one, but I do sell them online. I find them interesting because They are rotory.
Like many inkers, I dont really care for rotory machines. Most tattooists like to hear what their machine is doing. This one can run on a standard power supply, but the needles themself have to be from the company that produces them. In otherwords, a standard needle bar setup will not work with this machine. It uses needle cartridges instead. What do I like about the Cheyenne Hawk? Well , you will just have to see for yourself what makes this tattoo machine special...
