Henna Tattoos
As with henna hair dye, some people may have an allergic reaction so it is best to do a skin patch test before using.
A patch test is simple. Just put a small amount of the dye in a spot that would be covered up with clothing (remember it will stain your skin), then check the test area every so often for 48 hours to see if you have an allergic reaction. If you do, then you won't want to use a henna dye.
You should also read your henna tattoo instructions just in case their patch test is to be done a bit differently.
Henna allergic reactions are not common, but as I had mentioned up a little bit, just like hair dyes, some people may have a reaction and it's better to take the time to do the test.
