How Much Will You Pay For Tattoos
It took me about four years to decide on whether or not I wanted a tattoo. Trying to decide whether or not you want to place a piece of art on your body for the rest of your life is not easy. Of course once you have made the decision to go ahead with it the next thing that you will begin to worry about it how much a tattoo will cost.I love to spend as little money as possible - which is why I can't justify or allow myself to buy a tattoo for a large amount. I want to be able to get my money's worth - but not spend a fortune at the same time.
It is hard to determine exactly how much a tattoo will cost because it depends on many different things. Obviously you are going to be spending more money if you want a tattoo that will cover a large area of your body. However, when it comes to getting a smaller one that is easy and fast to get then you may be able to spend less then $100.
Another factor is the type of tattoo you want to get. When you go to a parlor the artist will usually have books full of designs to choose from. Usually these designs are cheaper then custom designs. It depends on how intricate the custom design is.
Color is another factor. Those who want to color in their tattoos will usually pay more then those who will keep it black and white.
But even with all of these factors it all really depends on the tattoo artist that you choose. Every artist is different and prides themselves on the work that they do. With that being said in in the end it is up to who you choose and we recommend that you choose the best no matter what the price.

Getting Away From The Pain Of Tattoos
I have known some people who received much larger tattoos and have almost passed out when they were having it done. There are things that you can take that will help to diminish the pain. Some are natural and others are medical.
But first you need to be made aware of the things that you should never take when trying to avoid the pain of a tattoo.
Never take alcohol or illegal drugs. Many people think that this will help against the pain - but all this does is make the process less safe. These things can thin the blood out and increase the amount that you will bleed. Also many artists will refuse to work on someone who is drunk and in some states it is illegal.
Also never take ibuprofen or aspirin. These products will also thin the blood.
You can take Tylenol or acetaminophen. These are over the counter painkillers that don't think your blood - making them safer and more effective.
Some people will go to extreme measures and will even try hypnosis. Of course this doesn't work with everyone.
You could always take nothing and tough it out like some people do. If you decide to do this then there are things that can help to take your mind off the pain.
When I was getting my tattoo I focused on other things and did not look at the needle once. Instead I held something tight in my free hand and thought about all the things that I had to do during the weekend. Before I knew it the artist had finished. It is true that I still felt the pain - but distracting myself made it more bearable and kept me from screaming out in pain.
There are other ways that can work to distract you. Try listening to music or watching a movie while they do that if they allow it. The best thing is to find what relaxes you and try to use that to help numb the pain.
Pain, Pain, And More Pain!
Everyone told me that getting a tattoo will hurt differently for people. For some their pain threshold is so high that they are able to pierce any part of their body. Others have a low pain threshold that causes them too faint even with a simple ear piercing. This applies to tattoos.
The pain from tattoos is due to the fact that many tiny needles are piercing your skin deep enough and very fast to drop the ink into your skin. It also depends on where you choose to place it, what colors you choose for it, and just how much you are psyching yourself out. If you are dreading for the worst than that is just what you are going to get.
One of the most painful places that you can place the tattoo is on the wrist, back, and anywhere else where the bone is not covered by much fat. You may decide to keep your tattoo black and white meaning that the process will be shorter and easier to withstand.
From personal experience I can tell you that it hurt quite a bit for me. Of course I was psyching myself out and was about to pass out before he even started. I chose a small and very simple design so that it would be quick and placed it on my wrist. I was warned that this part of my body would make it more painful than childbirth (childbirth was easier than this) but it was the perfect spot for this and allowed me to show it off to people. It hurt - but the pain was gone in less than an hour and it healed quickly.
Imagine it like this. You will endure a few minutes (depending on the size of the tattoo) of pain and years of enjoyment.
