The skull design My dad sent me from prison, so it has meaning to me. there are also like 8 more that he sent me and I want all of them to be tattoos at some point. They may not be the perfect fu@#ing thing around but they have meaning and look killer. I say that old school tat are best, simple least amount of color, unless you are gay I dont think you should be walin around all colorful and whatnot its just weird. when I get a touchup, I plan on gettin one or two more small ones.

I forget my tattoo is there most of the time, which is odd considering it's a great big word on my inner left arm. So I wouldn't say I 'love' it, but am glad I have it. As long as it's a personal expression/extension of oneself, rather than a fashion statement (which appears to be a bit of a stigma) then I don't really how it is much different to a hairstyle or jewellery

A tattoo is a marking made by inserting ink into the layers of skin to change the pigment for decorative or other reasons. Tattoos on humans are a type of decorative body modification, while tattoos on animals are most commonly used for identification or branding.
Tattooing has been practiced worldwide. The Ainu, the indigenous people of Japan, traditionally wore facial tattoos. Today one can find Berbers of Tamazgha (North Africa), Maori of New Zealand, and Atayal of Taiwan with facial tattoos. Tattooing was widespread among Polynesian peoples and among certain tribal groups in the Taiwan, Philippines, Borneo, Mentawai Islands, Africa, North America, South America, Mesoamerica, Europe, Japan, Cambodia, New Zealand and Micronesia. Despite some taboos surrounding tattooing, the art continues to be popular in many parts of the world.
