"Teaching Is...... A commitment to instill knowledge in the minds and hearts of all students. It is so much more than just a job., It requires a love of humanity, ...... a belief in the human spirit, ...... a dedication to excellence, ...... and a resolve to make a difference in the lives of others..
It is the foundation upon which all forms of progress are based.. Those who were destined to teach, spend their lifetimes investing. in the dreams of their students, and in so doing, their own dreams invariably come true. ......
To enlighten.... to awaken..... to inspire...... all of those, whose lives they touch...this is their dream! "

- If I could request a a gift to myself this year (I'm a teacher), it would be for each student to receive the support and knowledge they need, when they need it. It would be meeting each student at their own station in life and helping them along the path to a greater understanding. It would be for them to walk away from our room a more self-confident and better person than they were when they arrived.

- Love the list of teachers... I'm thinking the world today needs a few more highly influential teachers. Here's hoping!! If it were my list I would credit Joseph Campbell as well... his work changed my world :)
