Effective Mentoring Changes Lives!

Many of us want to develop the skills to become successful, but have not figured out what we should leverage to acquire those skills. We seek advice from others, we research, and we reflect on our personal experiences, but we still find ourselves at a dead end. The dominating thought in our mind becomes "HOW???"

This is why leveraging coaching is so important. The skill set that you are seeking can be made available by a mastermind group of teachers. When I say "mastermind" I mean individuals who are knowledgeable, focused, and have proven leadership. Incorporating this concept is very significant in terms of success because you can increase your skills in a shorter amount of time utilizing the experiences of your advisors. Leverage is the difference between using 100% of your efforts to get 5% progress or incorporating 10% of the efforts of many people to get 500% progress. Big difference!

When you have a mastermind group your life changes considerably! How so? Well, you are tapping into the energy of multiple minds. This creates a synergy that is similar to multiple lenses reflecting light. The more lenses present, and the more focused they are, the more powerful the reflection. And just like a single finger on your hand has power, the use of all of those fingers in concert (such as a balled-up fist) greatly amplifies this power.

Your mastermind group is the conduit for increased power. Leveraging the energy and talents of highly motivated people with specialized knowledge is advantageous because you become an expert through your team of experts. The sharing of knowledge, ideas, etc, between like-minded, singularly-focused individuals is one of the greatest secrets to success!

I have had profound success in my life because of good mentors. I can remember one of the first persons to ever guide me, outside of my parents, was my 6th grade science teacher Mrs. Paul. I still remember her teaching me how to become the very best student I could. She made learning fun. She's probably one of the reasons why I teach science today. In highschool, I had another great advisor. He taught me the importance of speaking my reality into existence. He taught me that whatever it is I desire, I need to be definitive about it. Instead of saying, "I'll try" my coach taught me the power in saying "I will."

A coach can guide an individual to develop focus for what's most important and how to go about achieving those things of importance. A mastermind group amplifies that focus because of the strength in numbers. This type of personal development is priceless. Why? Because it allows you to develop into a highly effective person. When you develop into a highly effective person life is a lot more fun, better relationships are formed, and making money becomes easier. It is one of the reasons personal development or life coaches like Tony Robbins can command thousands of dollars for a single coaching session.

Powerful masterminding really is life changing! Talk about building amazing relationships; my wife and I have a really outstanding team of mentors. One of our mentors, Cindy Manoske, has taught us to really answer the question, "What do we want out of life?" Instead of allowing us to settle with conventional answers like "a lot of money, going on adventurous trips," etc., Cindy challenges us for more clarity. Her questions cause us to analyze how we see ourselves and our family, and what really motivates us to want to build a successful networking business. In other words, she has helped us to develop a very compelling "WHY!" She has been a tremendous asset in terms of helping us to develop a blueprint for our success.

Mentoring has changed my life considerably and it can change yours! There is no greater feeling of joy than to know that you have helped someone achieve success. Leveraging the talents of others, working in unison, and developing leaders is what true masterminding is all about. It is one of the most important keys to success that you can learn.
