Teach Yourself Guitar... In Only a Few Months

I wrote a great article about how I learned to play the guitar in only three months. I'll link to it when it gets published. Granted I was not rocking like Slash from Guns and Roses... but I was playing tons of my favorite artists... some of whom I didn't realized wrote just easy music to play.

When I started I was lucky enough to tag along with a guitar teacher at a church, but if it wasn't for this small little kid who could rip up a guitar... I never would have learned so fast. And that's why I think Jamorama is so great for fresh beginners and even more advanced.

Heck I didn't pick up my copy until I was pretty good already.

But before I tell you more about why if you want to learn guitar... just go get your copy of Jamorama now... I want to share the secret of why I was able to go from flat out beginner to pretty darn good player so quickly.

The secret is... because of this little kid, I was forced to play with him and even though I sucked really bad... I progressed faster than you can even imagine.

And that's the exact reason why Jamorama will have you playing guitar almost immediately... well maybe in about 3 to 4 weeks if you work hard at it.

Why & How Jamorama Will Help You No Matter Your Level

Jamorama, created by a guy named, Ben Edwards does one thing that no other guitar course I know of does... have you playing with him in these little jam sessions almost from the start. Even though it can be frustrating as heck sometimes... there is no faster way to learn this instrument.

Ok... let's really get into what you're going to learn in Jamorama and why it's such a great course.

I'll touch more on that in a moment, but here's why Ben's course is a must:

- It's all audio and video. That alone makes it great. When I began learning... I was forced to use a crappy Mel Bay book that had terrible pictures of the guitar chords. He uses multiple camera angles to make sure you get everything.

- Ben teaches you chord progressions. I though this was huge... and this along would have had me playing much faster. I only learned one chord progression when I started and then I was left out to dry... Ben teaches you tons of these things. And once you know these... you will be blown away at how many songs you're capable of playing.

- Ben helps you read guitar tabs. It's not reading music and although he has a method to teach you how to read music... you won't need it after you master reading tabs. They make picking up new songs really easy... just get in with the rhythm and you're already there... seriously it is that easy.

- Ben helps you play in a band. You might be thinking... "I don't want to play in a band." Well neither did I... and I still don't but this part of the course leap frogs every other course out there because you're forced to internalize what you're playing. That makes you a much better player... even if you're a beginner... in fact it's probably better you are so you can learn right the first time.

- Ben gets you playing the guitar as fast as possible. Even if what you play sucks... you have to start somewhere and the faster you start the faster you'll be putting things together so you can play all on your own.

Next I'll quickly tell you about the bonuses Ben is giving you and what I think you should do if you're a beginner because you now get two options. If you're a little more advanced then you have to do something different.

Bonus One: How to Play by Ear

It's cool but if you're like me then just rocking out with your friends or when you're alone is good enough. And like I said... once you learn how to read the guitar tabs... I think your pretty much set.

But if you want to step up your skills then this will help. Just think how cool it would be to go to a party at your neighbors or at your friends place... hear a song that everybody loves... and you pick up a guitar and start playing (granted a guitar has to be hanging around). Pretty cool though!

Bonus Two: How to Read Music Easy

I really didn't care for this either... I don't want to learn to read music. But apparently is some kind of software that help make it easier.

All I can say on this is... judging on how killer the Jamorama course is... I can't see this being a slouch.

Bonus Three: Guitar Tuning Software

At first I thought... big deal. But then I saw the power of this bonus. You have to understand that not every song has the guitar tuned the same way. There are many variations of the ways you can tune a guitar and this software makes it EASY.

This alone is almost worth the cost of the course... I know you'll like this just as much as the course itself. It's a big help.
