Teakster is the voice from the dark recess of his mind.
As a young child, Teakster was always interested in art. However due to his parents, Teakster was discouraged from using art. As it was viewed as a waste of time and no good could ever come from it.
Teakster wouldn't even dare to bring paints home. This is because if Teakster spilt anything, Teakster would have been chased around the garden by his father while holding a pitchfork. Normally followed by curses and foul language!!!!!
Teakster tried to put away his creativity side in the back of his mind but over the years his hunger for being creativity grew stronger. Yet, Teakster had no place to focus it on.
Teakster tried using the creative industry as place to utilise my skills. However Teakster found the creative industry is strangely one of the uncreative areas to work within. This is because the clients are dull and the awkward people to work with.
Therefore Teakster is making this site to use as his canvas. Teakster work is a form of escapism, being able to be creative without any boundaries.
Things that inspire me are politics. People should be able to reflect and interpret the world around them. Teakster would like to think that he can help people to think more deeply, read more and work harder to assist in humanitarian issues or simply just getting more involved with these type of issues.
Something else that inspires me is Islamic art. Islam art is mostly famous for the use of calligraphy and basic repetitive shapes. Muslims are always looking back at history and praising there past achievements. Long ago Muslims were the leaders of arts and science and single handily kicked started the renaissance period. However, that is all in the past and now is the time to revive these forgotten arts.
