Marvel vs. Capcom

I guess this is more of U.S. vs. Japan kind of thing don't you think? From the list of areas or criteria below let's see who gets the upper hand and which team shows excellent performance:

Popularity - Marvel gets this one! Stan Lee is successful in creating the Marvel world and it has became popular in comics, games, TV series, and even in movies. A lot of people from all over the world collect Marvel stuff like comic books, toys, and other paraphernalia. Indeed, they have become a childhood memory and legend as well!

Upgrades & Developments - Capcom wins this round! Japan's Capcom has excelled in enhancing and developing its characters from time to time. It has also managed to release higher quality games for the Capcom gamers.

Kick-Ass Appearance - Although Capcom has good outward image I think Marvel's physical looks, including their costumes and other attributes, is better than the Capcom team. In movies, their outfit and battle gear were also reinvented to create a more suitable physique.

Fighting Skills & Teamwork - This goes out to the Marvel team for a showcase of marvelous fighting abilities and incredible teamwork that could defeat even the most capable enemies. The X-Men, Fantastic 4, Spider friends, Excalibur, X-factor, X-force, and The Avengers are truly remarkable and has impressed me with their unified fighting prowess.

Gaming - Street Fighter and Megaman are amazing games that obtained a lot of versions to satisfy your gaming pleasure. They are really designed for gamers and if you are hooked on Nintendo games, Playstation, and Xbox then Capcom is for you.

3D Graphics and Designs - With the magnificent performance of Capcom in the gaming industry, 3D graphics and designs are factors that made them outstanding in this area. With cool and gorgeous graphic designs and sounds that will rock your screen, they won this category.

Chance at the silver screen - Quite hard to tell but let's give them a tie as they both deserve recognition for this one. With the legendary Street Fighter in 1994 top-billed by Jean Claude Van Damme, the late Raul Julia, Ming Na, and Kylie Minogue it has popularized the Street Fighter game among Capcom fans out there. Of course, who could ever forget the several famous Marvel movies such as Spiderman, Fantastic 4, X-men, Hulk, and Daredevil? It's a draw for this criteria!
