The Battle of the Brews
There is a big rivalry between the Coffee and Tea industries. Coffee emphasizes it's ability to energize, while Tea boasts incredible health benefits. Sometimes the fight between the companies get dirty, and they start saying things like "coffee is a poison", or "tea is a drink for the infirmed", which we all realise aren't true!
Do you know exactly what tea and coffee are?
Tea is an infusion made by steeping leaves of the tea bush, Camellia sinensis, in hot water for a few minutes. It is rich in antioxidants, has a subtle scent and a relaxing effect. It is generally agreed that tea (especially green tea) is good for your health: it may prevent cancer, fight free radicals, and help with health diseases.
Coffee is a stimulant beverage prepared from beans of the coffee plant. There are several species of this plant, such as Coffea arabica and Coffea benghalensis. Nothing like a cup of aromatic coffee to wake you up and start your day! As for coffee's effects on health, it's still disputed whether they are positive or negative.
Now, you decide which one is better!
What do YOU have in your cup?
Tea or Coffee?

It's all up to you. I drank tea and then added in coffee too. Realized though that coffee gave more caffeine spikes and dependency. Strong health knowledge showed me sticking with tea overall was healthier and a steadier, healthier flow of caffeine.
The key though is "Do you really like coffee?" I mean really like the taste of it. To a lot of people I ask, it taste like crap - until you add a ton of sugar and junk Starbucks.
I dropped coffee cold a month ago, and have continued along with just tea, but good tea. Drop the tea bags, and give some loose leaf teas a shot. You'll taste the difference, and get more of the health benefits you've read about. The tea bags use the debris, the dust, the fannings from the real leaves.
And if you're a coffee drinker who wants a tea that looks like coffee, try some good pu-erh tea.

I have a double shot of expresso that I spend 20 minutes making every morning. I am no purist. I add brown sugar the frothed milk. Sometimes, chocolate, malt powder, Kahula, Irish Cream, ice cream etc... That is why coffee gets my vote. You can transform it into anything.
