Tea has health benifits, more diverse in it's 'non flavored' varieties, and doesn't make you jittery. Tea is awesome.
There is such a variety of tea times, from white, green, oolong, black.. and each type varies by region and how it is processed. I compare travel of flavor.. kind of like exploring single malt scotch or wines.
In my opinion, Tea is just more refined taste.

I'm a southerner so nothing is better to me on a hot sunny day (or any day for that matter) than a refreshing glass of home brewed sweet tea. My grandmother always brewed hers with a little mint from her garden and it was so refreshing.

I really like both but I'm gonna have to pick tea because that's what I drink most. I really do think tea has a slight health advantage and usually less caffiene.

Wow...huge debate.
The best of course is just water, but organic green tea takes its place above coffee and other teas. I say organic because you don't want to use teas that have been treated with pesticides! :)

This is such a hard choice. I love both. When I was in Hawaii I bought some wonderful flavored tea that I love. But having been a barista for 4 years I would have to say coffee takes the cake for me, not to mention it is a staple for my morning.

Everything About Coffee
Informative article about coffee on Wikipedia.
Coffee is a brewed beverage prepared from roasted seeds, commonly called coffee beans, of the coffee plant. Due to its caffeine content, coffee has a stimulating effect in humans. Today, coffee is one of the most popular beverages worldwide.
Coffee beans may have first been consumed as a beverage in the ninth century, by Arabs who encountered it in the highlands of Ethiopia.Mekete Belachew, "Coffee," in von Uhlig, Siegbert, ed., Encyclopaedia Aethiopica (Weissbaden: Horrowitz, 2003), p.763.It is rumored that an Ethiopian shepherd first noticed his goats were always perky after chewing on certain red berriesDr. Abraham Verghese, "Cutting for Stone," (Random House India, 2009 13579108642), p. 136.; this led to humans consuming derivatives of the berries for their pleasurable effects. From Ethiopia, coffee spread to Egypt and Yemen, and by the 15th century, had reached Armenia, Persia, Turkey, and northern Africa. From the Muslim world, coffee spread to Italy, then to the rest of Europe, to Indonesia, and to the Americas.
Coffee berries, which contain the coffee bean, are produced by several species of small evergreen bush of the genus Coffea. The two most commonly grown species are Coffea canephora (also known as Coffea robusta) and Coffea arabica; less popular species are Liberica, Excelsa, Stenophylla, Mauritiana, Racemosa. These are cultivated in Latin America, Southeast Asia, and Africa. Once ripe, coffee berries are picked, processed, and dried. The seeds are then roasted, undergoing several physical and chemical changes. They are roasted to varying degrees, depending on...
