Frou Frou Tea Sandwiches
This is my favorite delicate sandwich because it is easy, inexpensive, AND delicious.
Celery and Walnut Wonderful Tea Sandwiches
4 oz. cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup celery, finely chopped
1/2 cup diced toasted walnuts
Thinly sliced bread of your choice (my favorite is marbeled Rye).
First toast walnuts by spreading on a baking stone or cookie sheet and bake at 375 5-10 mintues until lightly browned. Then, in a small bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth. Mix in celery and walnuts. Spread on bread and cut in shape with cookie cutter if desired.
