What's this Ted Leonsis SEO contest?
I think the Ted Leonsis SEO Contest is Misguided. I usually ignore these contests. This one irritates me, so I've decided to participate. I worked at AOL from 1995-2001 and always enjoyed the presentations Ted Leonsis gave at company-wide meetings. He's very bright and a dynamic speaker. He was good at motivating the AOL employees. Not too many executives were well-respected both internally and externally. I think the SEO community is overreacting in this case. Ted Leonsis is a good guy.

Do Some Christmas Shopping While You're Here
Notice that this SEO contest is called "It's A Very Ted Leonsis Christmas" SEO Contest. The contest ends on Christmas Eve. While you're here, you might as well do some Christmas shopping. Buy Christmas gifts from Maine (yes that's another lens here on Squidoo). Brian from Scoreboard Media Group who's sponsoring this Ted Leonsis SEO contest says, "I'm going to give $500 to whomever has the highest ranking Google SERP for [ted leonsis] at midnight Central Time on Christmas Eve... I guess there are only two rules in play here. The first is that if either myself or Graywolf wins, we will donate the money to St. Jude's Children's Hospital. Anyone else can take the cash if they win. The second rule is you must link back to this page so I know who is eligible to win the loot." Sticking with a Maine theme, if I win, I'll donate the $500 to Blackbear United Football Club, a not-for-profit 501c3 youth soccer organization that develops soccer players aged 5-18. My brother is the club's director. I like to donate to organizations I'm familiar with. What Ted Leonsis SEO Contest? Play a Game!
