This is a true money getting story...

Some 25 years ago I founded my own company, selling third party software and harware to a reseller network in Europe. In order to get attention for my company from prospects in the market I was spending a fortune on advertising to end users, thus creating sales leads for my software dealers.

One day I decided to set up my own magazine for this market in order to spend my marketing dollars on advertising in my own, dedicated magazine.

The magazine was sent to end users free of charge and I made money on the advertising income.

All of my suppliers were also advertisers in my magazine and they were very interested to market to my database directly as well...

So I started my own telemarketing and telesales department. We sent marketing and sales letters to our database and our in-house telesales team called every person in the database. They sold products to these prospects, made appointments for our reseller sales teams and at the same time checked the name and address details in our database.

That's how I got paid for my marketing and my own telesales activities and made a more than nice profit as well...
