GOD'S BEAUTY
Experiencing the sights and sounds of nature
Have you ever been outside and just stopped what you're doing to look around you and listen to the sounds? Do you notice the blue skies, the delicacy of the clouds? Have you ever noticed how the sun's rays shine off the edges of the clouds or shine through them?
Have you ever noticed the different colours of the waters of a beach or the different shapes of the white caps on those waves? What about listening to the sounds of a beach? The delighted squeals of young children as they merrily splash in ankle deep waters. The sounds of a wave gently lapping at a rock, or swishing softly as it rolls up to you. What about the calls of the gulls as they swoop to and fro' high overhead? The smells of a beach are so clear and refreshing. With an inhale, one can smell the freshness of the clear air and waters.
Whenever I arrive at a beach, it is not the crowds, or the blaring of different radios that draw me. It is the feel of the lapping waters, the gentle breeze that flows around me and the soft, warm feel of the sand between my toes that sends pleasure through my soul.
Nighttime on the shores is a wonder to behold. Peace and tranquility weave a spellbinding song under those twinkling stars. If we be ever so silent as we sit languidly, one can experience the wonders our God has given us. He created the images, sounds, feelings and senses for us all to enjoy.
As an artist, I have always been keenly tuned into these very senses, ever since I can remember . One can try as they may to capture God's beauty on a canvas, but HE is the one and only true Creator.
