The Wonderful World of Birds
I have been watching birds since I was 7 years old, but it didn't take me long to see that bird behaviour is complex and varied, and that birds are capable of remarkable feats of intelligence and dexterity.
The following are a collection of interesting bird video clips that show some amazing examples of bird behaviour. A number of these clips are from the excellent BBC television series "The Life of Birds".

9. Hummingbirds on Nectar Feeder
August Hummingbirds
Some clips I shot a few years ago with my Fuji S5000 camera of predominately female and immature Ruby Throated Hummingbirds. I never put red food coloring into the sugar solution anymore. The hummingbirds find the feeders just fine without it. Lately I've begun using an actinic (brown) glass hummingbird feeder. It is easier to clean. My website has more extensive photos, info, and links to other sites. http://home.centurytel.net/Arkcite/hek0.htm
