Make a lens now and make a lens fast. Even as a beginner, and completely new to Squidoo, I will show you how to make a lens quickly and easily.
And YES, this lens was created in less than 10 minutes. (You can probably tell, but the point is that anyone can do this!)
Granted, this won't be the largest and most professional looking site, but it is a good example of what a beginner can do with very little effort. This is an example of what YOU can do also! Have a simple, professional looking website on Squidoo in minutes! 10 minutes to be exact. You can have your own site and your own opinions searched out by others on Google, Yahoo, MSN or any search engine. Get your spot on the web and design your own free site quickly and easily! Follow the simple steps below or shoot me a note through my message board below asking for help and I can walk you through it personally. So what are you waiting for?? Start your own website on Squidoo right now!

How to make your new Lens in 10 minutes flat!
1. In your Dashboard click the button "Make my first lens"
2. Next step is fill in briefly what your lens is about, such as "How to make a lens in 10 minutes"
3. At this point a good 30 seconds have passed. Follow the next few steps that walk you through the setup which should take another 30 seconds. Just put in what is on your mind and make your answers as organic as possible.
4. Ok 1 minute in, and your Lens is ready to tackle. You are making a simple 10 minute lens, so click Edit in the lens title section and throw your title in there, for example "Make your lens in 10 minutes flat!"
5. Forget pictures, you can add them later. Right now we are setting up a functional lens in 10 minutes and we are about 1.5 minutes in. Its time to add content, so smack EDIT on your first text module, slam a quick title on there as to what you are about to talk about, and then go to town. Bang out that content and type quickly. I'm through 5 points in my lens already and we are a good 4 minutes into the lens creation.
6. Clean it up!! X out those RSS feeds, you don't need those now. X out all of the modules except for 2, the Amazon module and the guestbook (you know you want feedback on your 10 minute lens, right?)
7. Quickly run in and EDIT your Amazon module to let Amazon choose what ads it will run for you, give it a title such as "Things I like", and save that bad boy.
8. Click EDIT on the guest book and title it "Guest Book"....people will figure out the rest.
9. Let Squidoo take care of all of the automatic ads, search engine submissions, money making stuff, etc, etc. After a quick glance at this, I believe Squid will hot link at least 5 or 6 items in this site to referred or affiliate sites. Not bad if this puppy ever gets any traffic drawn to it. Your lens will be much better than this, I"m sure, but I'm not going for quality here. heh heh
10. Fly to the top of your Lens and bang the word PUBLISH and POOF! You have your lens in 10 minutes flat!

I want to know how you started out...small...big...with one site, with 100? Did you do it for the money, girls, and fame? Did you do it just to share your thoughts? How and why did you start out as a lensmaster?
How the heck did you get started in Squidoo?

Money, girls and fame? Nope, I did it for the money and I made my first lens in 30 mins - which is a much more reasonable time. Since then, of course, I've refined and refinef and now calculate that 4 hours is the optimum time to make a lens
