Lead, direct, and negotiate contracts with independent contractors who provide all aspects of media support, including television, radio, print advertising, e-marketing, publishing, and promotions. Consistently improve results through creation and execution of leadership development, needs assessment, and solutions-oriented programs within private businesses, particularly political campaigns and international schools. Write protocols and direct change through careful assessment, innovation, and motivation/inspiration toward execution and implementation.

Selected Projects & Achievements:
- Designed and championed numerous programs and opportunities for employees and students through development and delivery of curriculum for business, university and secondary education.

- Successfully coordinated Government Relations Strategies with members of the state supreme court, state bar association, various economic development agencies, businesses, associations; as well as international strategies with members of the European Council of International Schools (ECIS) London, England.

- Created and produced innovative programs, helping to shape and redefine the mission, vision, and objectives of numerous government, business, and educational organizations.

- Built collaborative relationships with universities such as Carnegie Mellon and the University of Chicago, defining business and government needs for job growth and innovation, while leveraging political expertise and network to execute goals.

WISCONSIN STATE LEGISLATURE, Madison, WI (2001-2006)

- The Wisconsin State Legislature is a governmental body composed of the Wisconsin Senate and Assembly.
- State Legislator, Chairwoman of Economic Development, Vice Chairwoman of the Judiciary

- Formulated strategies and made decisions that balanced the perspectives of private citizens, public officials, and party leaders. Focused on issues affecting constituents by directing a legislative staff, comprised of a policy researcher, staff assistants, and interns who set up listening sessions, committee hearings, generated polling, and monitored local newspapers, and broadcasts. Conferred with key stakeholders, and oversaw drafting of various policy solutions centered on the core values of free market principles, opportunities, and equal justice.

Born and raised in the community of Janesville, Paul Ryan is a fifth-generation Wisconsin native. Currently serving his 7th term as a Member of Congress, Paul works to address the many important issues affecting Wisconsin residents and serve as an effective advocate for the 1st Congressional District.

He is the Chairman of the House Budget Committee, where he works to bring fiscal discipline and accountability to the federal government. He is a senior member of the House Ways and Means Committee, which has jurisdiction over tax policy, Social Security, health care and trade laws.

Paul has put forward a specific plan to tackle our looming fiscal crisis, driven by the explosion of entitlement spending. "The Path to Prosperity" helps spur job creation today, stops spending money the government doesn't have, and lifts the crushing burden of debt. This plan puts the budget on the path to balance and the economy on the path to prosperity.

Paul is a graduate of Joseph A. Craig High School in Janesville and earned a degree in economics and political science from Miami University in Ohio.

Paul and his wife Janna live in Janesville with their children, daughter Liza and sons Charlie and Sam. The youngest of four children, Paul is the son of Paul Sr. (deceased) and Betty Ryan. He is a member of St. John Vianney's Parish.
