These Are Five Small Steps to Test the Social Networking Waters for Your Business and Bring Leads to You. This Lens will discuss Simple Steps to set up your personal social network and learn more about Internet Attraction Marketing.

People are going to the Internet every day in increasing numbers and joining Social Networking groups like "hotcakes" to get information like, current events, politics, personal interests, hobbies, gaming, shopping, socializing, and any number of things. They are talking to each other by email, instant messaging, blogs and other social media. It is a "tidal wave" of powerful information that is influencing how we live and the decisions we make and for our future.

Social Networking is the way you can gain momentum in your business by getting online and participating and communicating your ideas, business information and the unique skills that you have to offer. People are attracted to the "value" of what you have to share, without selling them first. They will listen to you and follow you and want what you have. At that point they will ask You what your business or opportunity is about and you will have understood what "Internet Attraction Marketing" is about. You will then have leads built-in to your business that will follow you.

Here are 5 Small Steps to Create your own Social Network:

  1. Choose a Social Network that pertains to your business such as:
Digg.com (a variety of businesses in here, easy to navigate and fun to learn what others are doing and bookmark information)
Facebook.com (set up your profile, attach links, socialize, join business and personal groups)
LinkedIn.com (business oriented, schools, more formal).

  2. Set up an online Profile.
If you need to, look and see what others have done, so you are comfortable with yours, it makes it easier. It can be professional and yet you can look approachable to others as they get to know you.
Choose some music if you prefer. See if some friends have already joined the social network you have chosen. The directions are pretty easy to navigate.

  3. Introduce yourself to the community.
You can go to other people you already know and let them know you have joined the community, or search and area of your personal interest and find a personal profile of someone and click on their link and invite them to your network. By doing that you have introduced yourself to them, and you can write a note inviting them to your community.

  4. Every Day Invest 15 minutes reading other people's posts, contributing your personal tips, and ideas, and writing back to their them and ask questions. This way you will build your own online network and there are even greater advantages to your business, if you are following Internet Attraction Marketing...traffic is picked up on the internet the more you are active and goes out to Google and Yahoo and people will see "your name" more and more as you are active.

  5. Link your Blog to your Social Networking site profile.
People will follow your articles you write and you will have "do-it-yourself" publicity which will build a huge "buzz" about your business. As a result, many people will visit your site, people will email, call, and respond to your blog. Your name will get higher rankings in Google because you share your expertise.

These Five Steps will cut off the learning time for you to navigate the waters of Social Networking sites and get started or get ahead of the "tidal wave" that is currently happening in the internet world. Whether you are in traditional business looking for an "edge" to advertise your business and get known in cyberspace or a network marketer, this is where the action is happening.
