Testing Video Games

If you want to make some serious money testing video games, you'll need to have a serious attitude. These companies are not paying you to play their games, but to TEST their games. They expect you to give them qualitative feedback on their games. So let me give you some tips on becoming a video game tester:

1. Don't fool around

By testing video games you build a reputation for yourself. When the quality of your work is good companies will pick up on that. Once you've done an excellent job for one of the companies we work with, they'll want you to test their other games too! Reputation is everything in the world of testing video games!

2. Platforms

You can test video games on every platform on the market! If your goal is to create a full time income you'll need to have more than one platform. More platforms equal more testing opportunities and more money!

But don't let this get to you. If you really want to become a video game tester, then just go for it! You might encounter some hurdles in the beginning when you lack the gaming experience or reputation, but anyone can do this! Once you got your foot in the door, the door stays open and the games keep coming!!
