Flash game - TEXTreme Adventure

I started playing video games between the 8- and 16-bit eras, both on consoles and in the arcade (and very few on our old IBM), so text adventures were a little before my time (or at least knowledge). I really got into text adventures from Homestar Runner's "Thy Dungeonman" games. They were fun, amusing, and had a good difficulty level. Then I started looking into them a little more. I still haven't played too many, and some of the classic ones are just a little bit too long for my taste, but I decided to make one myself. Since I had so much fun with the "Thy Dungeonman" games, I did it in that style, including a few references to them. And being a big Zelda fan, there are several references to that in it as well. This was my second flash game.

If you've never played a text adventure before, it's pretty simple. Your location is described to you, and you are given certain clues. Any words that are in ALL CAPS can be interacted with in the following ways (and maybe more, type "help" without quotes in the game for a partial list): You can LOOK at things, GET items, USE items, EQUIP equipment, check your INVENTORY, TALK to people, GO to places, and other such things. For example, the proper form for looking at something (without the quotes) is "look ______." To combine two items, type (without quotes) "use ______ and ______." A few commands can be abbreviated (try some out), and commands only work if they are lower case (and with no punctuation), so be wary. Try interacting with different objects multiple times, and in different ways. Explore, have fun, and prepare for a TEXTreme Adventure!
