Experience Thai Yoga Massage for the First Time
Before the massage
Traditional Thai massage is performed fully clothed, without any oils or creams.
» Wear clothes that allow freedom of movement, such as yoga or exercise clothing such as T-shirts and cotton sweatpants. Shorts and shirts with hoods are not recommended.
» When you arrive at your appointment for your first Thai Yoga Massage, you will most likely have to fill out a health questionnaire.
» It is important to let the masseur know if you have any health issues, current or past injuries, or movement restrictions to be respected.
During the massage
» Relax, focus on your breath and allow any stress to dissolve.
» To get the best benefit and the most enjoyment from your experience, pay attention to the specific area that the masseur is working on.
» Let your masseur know if you experience any discomfort during the massage.
After the massage
The masseur will leave the room and come back after several minutes with a glass of lukewarm water for you. The best way to prolong your relaxation after leaving our center is to have a nice bath and a hot meal, or simply spend some calming quiet time.

Thai Yoga Massage at Lotus Palm School
Centuries ago, a dynamic bodywork therapy based on yoga and Ayurveda was born in the temples of Thailand. In this unique healing system of Thai Yoga Massage - also called Nuad Boran and widely known as traditional Thai massage - the practitioner guides the recipient through a series of yoga postures while palming and thumbing along the body's energy ("Sen") lines and pressures points. Together these actions result in a comprehensive full body treatment that relieves muscular tension, improves circulation, boosts the immune system and balances the body energetically. At the Lotus Palm School of Thai Yoga Massage located in Montreal, Canada, you can learn how to give a massage by attending our intensive courses, receive a massage from our skilled professionals, and browse our shop containing a wide range of products and accessories for creating a successful massage experience.
