Where Should I Really Start?

Those of you that know me, know I have been working online off and on for the last 11 years. Once in a while, I do look back and think to myself "What if I would have stuck with things the first time around", but then I have to tell myself to stop kicking myself while I'm down.

I'm not going to get into all of the businesses that I've started here, but if you'd like to read more on that, please visit My Affiliate Marketing Journey to read more.

This is a pick me up lens instead, somewhere I can come back to for inspiration all in one place. I will be adding more inspiring people as time goes on.

Thank you number one goes out to my husband

I have always wanted to work for myself at home, it wasn't until after the two of us got married where I really started to become successful and see that my dream really can happen. I think many times my husband just wishes that I could be happy having to get up every day and be somewhere at a certain time, but he has really started to come around over the last couple of years. I would like to thank him for putting up with all of the time that I spend on the computer, for helping me ship packages out, and giving me support when I was down.

My husband and I have been through our ups and downs over the last 9 years that we've been together. Dealing with his gambling addiction has been real tough for me, which many times caused me to work harder on my online business. I learned later on that this was my defense mechanism and I wasn't helping his problem at all. What would later happen is he would either start to resent or feel guilty that I had been working so hard and it would trigger the gambling trigger in his head even more.

There was so much resent at one point in time that he even went so far as to mess with the incoming phone line so my DSL connection wouldn't work. As things with the line became progressively worse, I finally called the phone company to send someone out. By the time this happened, my husband had forgotten about messing with the phone lines; he's just lucky that the visit was covered under the linebacker insurance that I pay for every month. This is one of those things that really ticked me off at the time, but now the two of us laugh about it whenever the subject is brought up.

One more time, I'd like to thank you, Jerry, for understanding that I have a dream and supporting that dream.

Thank you to all of my customers at The Software Castle

A huge thank you goes out to all of my customers past and present for taking a chance on an unknown video game seller. I can't thank you enough for supporting a small business trying to make it in a cut-throat world.

I recently made the decision to start selling down and not replenishing my video game inventory for The Software Castle. I love being able to stay on top of the gaming industry, but it's just too much for one person. I do have a gaming blog idea in mind that I will have more time to spend on once we are done wrapping things up. This will allow me to continue writing about games and hopefully give me a reason to play more as well.

Over the next couple of weeks we will be marking down and auctioning off a lot of new and used games. What will happen to the site when all is said and done? I'm not sure.

Thank you to all of those that have submitted their pictures to One Million Pet Pics

stoneyThe manual portion of One Million Pet Pics has made this blog more difficult to run than it should be. I would like to thank the readers and regular visitors as well as contributors to our site.

Over the next couple months there will be some changes made to make OMPP easier to use for everyone, I really miss see all those cute pictures so I hope this can make this site what I originally envisioned it to be. Until then, please be patient with me; my time and funds are limited so I'm going to have to do all of the work myself.

Thank you Kyle & Carson for starting Wealthy Affiliate

So I just broke the news that I'm selling down my video game inventory, but I'm not giving up on my dream of working online. I have decided to change my business over to an affiliate marketing model. Until a couple of months ago, I had been all over the board and trying everything that I could. WA has allowed me to focus on one thing at a time and I have learned so much in the short time I have been there.

Thank you for giving myself and many others out there hope that there are still honest and good people willing to help people learn affiliate marketing.

My lensmater thank you, lens number 100.

I'm not going to go back through thanking all of the lensmasters that have inspired me through the years because I just did not too long ago. Please feel free to visit that lens.

Thank you Squidoo for my first purple star

I received notice 2 days ago that I had received my first purple star for my 2 Dogs 2000 Miles lens.
