Google Apps

Ahh, the simplicity of it all...

Google has been the leader of the online free world (China, yikes!) for longer than a decade now, so it stands to reason that they're doing something right. Can you say "Free?"

Not only is Google the online superpower, but it insists on giving it's best products away for free, or very inexpensive. Products like:

    Gmail

More than likely many of you already have a Gmail account, but what you may not know, is exactly the organizational potential that can be reached with a Gmail account. With chatting and phone calling capabilities, using this organizational tool is a no-brainer. Oh yeah, I forgot one small isty-bitsy detail...it's free.

    Google Docs

I can't say enough about Google Docs. I run my own small business and I use it for every single document I make. Spreadsheets, simple text, presentations (PowerPoint-type), forms, even drawings. You can also enable other users to share your documents. Meaning they can view, or even edit your documents if you want them to. "But wait, there's more! If you act now you can get all this and more for the low low price of...Free."

    Google Calendar

No matter you're industry, work habits, or time constraints, the Google Calendar is an organizational tool that you can't afford to be without. With an incredibly easy user interface, the calendar will help even the busiest person keep their life in order. Email updates of the upcoming day, sharing capabilities, and various ready-to-use apps really makes you wonder why you're not using this already. "What's the outrageous price of this unbelievable tool?" you ask. Drum roll please...Free.

Find out which organizational tools are best for you and your needs. Whether it's business or pleasure, at home or mobile, I'm sure Google can help you.

Cool lens! I use SpringPad instead of Evernote, simply cause I liked SpringPad's mobile app a little better (I only really take notes when I'm out and about anyways). I've never heard of Hootsuite, I'll have to check it out. I'm using Seesmic right now for that purpose, and I've got no complaints with it.
