Oh my gosh, this dvd I am about to tell you about has the most awesome sequence ever for anger. I've done the sequence when I was not angry - in fact this sequence is one of my favorites, just for relaxation because it's got all the good poses in it that really are helpful for lower back issues and for relaxing.
But I have also done the sequence when angry, anguished, sad, and just feeling bad, and it does work! After about 20 minutes, if you can keep your mind focused on the yoga, you can feel better.
It's super-gentle yoga that anyone can do, even absolute beginners.

About the Yoga for Anger Sequence on the DVD
The anger sequence is 52 minutes and it starts out with downward dog, then supported bound angle (which I love - it's so healing), and then supported wide angle and more.
When they do easy cross legged pose my husband and I do butterfly instead because it's so good for the lower back. That pose is quite long which I really like. The longer I sit in it the more peaceful I fee.
So I can be smoking mad at anything and do this sequence and feel better. You can do it every day - there's nothing strenuous or straining about it.
I think if you do it every day it probably could help you not feel SO angry and not get SO upset and feeling crappy. I feel like I have more resilience and good feelings when I do yoga for sure. (that's why I'm always trying to get everyone I know into it.)

Nice twist - very energizing. I like this exercise, but it's more 'pre-anger' than post-anger like the dvd I am recommending is good for.
