Red: A Study of Contraditions
Red is the one color that evokes extreme emotions in everyone. It is a passionate color that can lead to violence and warfare, or the flush can signal a love that transcends time. It is power, the banner that leads the troops to war, and a warning of danger up ahead. Red is the symbol of courage and sacrifice, life and death.
It is Cupid on one end and the Devil on the other.

The Nature of Red
Red is considered the hottest of all the warm colors, but red light has the longest wavelength and carries the least amount of energy. It is at the top of rainbow. Its wavelengths bend to the rules of nature just as all the colors do, but its length allows it to dominate. When we think of a rainbow, red is the first color that comes to mind. Is this the source of the contractions and clashing opposites in nature? Nature's Palette
