The Death of Michael Jackson

Celebrity guests attending Jackson's funeral included Elizabeth Taylor, Macaulay Culkin, Reverend Al Sharpton, Glady's Knight and many others.

The family encouraged mourners to celebrate Michael's Life .

Michael Jackson at the age of 11 became known on the music scene with his 4 other brothers named the Jackson 5.

The Jackson 5 consisted of

Marlon, Tito, Jackie, Jermaine, and Michael and later came Randy in which the group changed their name to The Jacksons.

They came out with great hits such as "ABC", "I'll be There". "I Want you Back" and so many others.

Michael was so talented in his singing and dancing that he often stood out amongst his brothers for his natural talent.

Michael also has 3 other sisters who are also in the entertainment industry which are Janet , Latoya and Rebbie.

Born Michael Joseph Jackson in the suburbs of Gary, Indiana, to parents Katherine and Joseph; Michael and his siblings were brought up in a very strict household in which their father Joseph had very high expectations for his children in the music industry.




Michael was physically and mentally abused by his father throughout his young life which affected him greatly into his adult life.

He spoke openly about his childhood abuse on the Oprah Winfrey Show in 1993. He stated that he often cried and felt alone , the sight of his father would traumatize him so greatly that he would often get sick at his very presence.

So when you look back on Michael's childhood, you can get a better understanding of why he tried to capture his youth as an adult since he never had the opportunity to be a child.

Michael leaves behind two children- Michael and Paris who were born to ex-wife Debbie Rowe, the nurse of Jackson's dermatologist. Michael had a third child in 2001 named Prince Michael II born to a unknown surrogate mother.

The legendary Michael Jackson will be remembered for his great talents and contributions to society. The Movie -This Is It will be shown in theatres on October 28th, 2009 and will portray the life of Michael Jackson as some have never seen before, showing scenes of his last days rehearsing at the London O2 Arena.
