Elf on the Shelf - Fun with Gerald

Our grandchildren have totally enjoyed the Elf on the Shelf this year. They named their elf Gerald. It's been fun to hear the children, ages 5 and 6, talk about where they found Gerald each day. Our six year old introduced me to Gerald and warned me sternly not to touch him - touching him removes his magic!

Do enjoy the videos on this site about Elf on the Shelf. The videos allow you to fully see the magic in this little book and the elf!

This is a delightful book to present to families with preschoolers - I would strongly suggest you give it to them at Thanksgiving or at some point in the year before Christmas! I read this aloud to our entire family on Christmas Eve as the children prepared to say goodbye to Gerald -- until next Christmas season!
