No worries, you've come to the right place. So just what is this "eye-clops" bionic eye thingy!

Not your normal magnifier

When I was a kid, well, I still am at heart, but when I was considerably younger, microscopes were little plastic pieces of equipment that you tried to look through this tiny little hole to see a blurred outline of something you'd spent way too much time getting between two pieces of glass and in the right place under the lens. What I needed then was the Eyeclops, the micro magnifier that hooks up directly to your TV to turn the tiny into the large, the micro into the macro.

Well, say good-bye to those old fashioned microscopes! With the EyeClops Bionic Eye hand-held device, both young and old can view everyday objects at 200 times their regular size. Although its recommended for kids ages six and up, the EyeClops creates hours of endless play and exploration that's fun for the entire family.

Much more fun than a regular microscope, the EyeClops transforms TV's into an educational and interactive toy. Make the ordinary, extraordinary. At that high magnification, salt crystals look like blocks of ice; ordinary carpet can look like a giant plate of spaghetti; ants become monsters.

It's so easy to use. Requiring no software, you just plug Eyeclops directly into the A/V jacks found on any current TV, point it at something up close and "WAM", it's instantly magnified 200 times on your TV. Kids love it. Adults love it too. Parents will love how their children learn without even realizing it. And just so you don't have to touch anything you don't want to, the toy comes with an observation dish and tube, perfect for viewing liquids, salt, and bugs. The EyeClops does require five AA batteries.

Hey Dad, Did You See That!

Something I've heard more than once in my house

Ever have one of your little ones scream that at you from another room. Certainly a common occurrence in my house. Here's how it goes:

Child: "Dad, did you see that?"
Dad: "See what?"
Child: "See that thing on TV?"
Dad: "What thing on TV?"
Child: "That thing that shows you stuff on TV?"
Dad: "Yes, it's called a television show."
Child: "No, not that, that thing that you hold and put on stuff and it shows you the stuff you put it on on TV?"
Dad: "What?"
Child: "You know, that magnifying thing that shows on TV? I want that."
Dad: "Sorry, didn't see it, tell me sooner next time so I can."
Child: "Well, you missed it, it was the coolest thing.....(keeps talking"

Well, I'll cut it off there cause it could go on for a while the very vivid description that my child can give. Anyways, if you're like me and missed it, I found it for you to see:

So just where can I get one of these EyeClops

on eBay ofcourse!

Gotta have one and gotta have it now! There's always a ton of these out on eBay. No worries, these were all listed as "new in box" so they should all be fine. As always, be smart. I'd always check out any seller's ratings before I buy. If there rating is good and shows no problems in the last 30 days, there normally very safe to purchase from.

Cool Educational Toy for the Whole Family, October 21, 2007

One cord to plug it into the TV, and it's ready to go...couldn't be easier to set up and use!

Amazing detail with all things fibrous -- cloth, hair, fur, paper. Unexpected details in things like plastic, laminates, metals. Easy even for little ones to use, though they need to understand they can't lick, scratch, or otherwise mar the lens.

Comes with a petri dish accessory, and a little plastic tube that can be screwed into the eye for close-up examination of liquids, bugs, and who-knows-what-we'll-think-of-next?!

Ease of use and the effect of seeing things magnified on your TV set is exactly what makes this toy straddle that line between great toy and educational tool.

Wow!

I bought this for my five year old and she was absolutely captivated. Started out bored and after 2 minutes was running around the house looking for things to view. The quality of the image is very good and there are some nice attachments that make it easier to view different types of things. Really a great toy that ignites scientific curiosity in kids without them knowing it.

I don't want to go the auction route
