The Eye Of Ra - The Eye Of Horus Tattoo
The Meaning of: The Eye of Ra or The Eye of Horus

Is a powerful symbol of protection also known as the "Eye of Horus" and the "all seeing eye". The symbol was frequently used in jewelery made of gold, silver, lapis, wood, porcelain, and carnelian, to ensure the safety and health of the bearer and provide wisdom and prosperity. However, it was also known as the "Eye of Ra", a powerful destructive force linked with the fierce heat of the sun which was described as the "Daughter of Ra".

Where Is The Less Painful Part Of The Body To Get A Tattoo?
Are Tattoos Painful?
My Personal Experience

*** That's my left wrist bleeding from the new tattoo --->
Yes, they are painful. Let me explain myself, first. I got my first tattoo back in 2001. It's an Aries Tribal and it's located on my lower back. When I got that one done it didn't hurt as much, well at least not as much as I was expecting it to be.
My husband have many tattoos on his body and he always complained about the pain. I guess it's all about how much pain a person can hold. Some people say that it doesn't hurt and others say that it hurts more than anything.
To tell you the truth, it does hurt, but I would say that the level of pain depends on the person and the location of the tattoo.
My second tattoo ( my left wrist Eye of Horus tattoo) picture above, hurt more than the one on my lower back. Why? I don't know, maybe it was because the skin on my wrist is more sensitive and the veins and nerves were exposed to the needle many times. It took only 25 minutes for the artist to finish my Eye of Horus tattoo on my left wrist.
I have heard that the more sensitive the area the painful the tattoo will be! SO, choose wisely and remember that the pain only last a couple of minutes, but the art will last forever... It's worth the pain!!

Some oudjat eyes had an arm carrying the Ankh or the papyrus staff, symbol for to flourish. The eye of Horus was also used as a protection against the evil eye. Tattoo Aftercare Important Information

It's very important to follow all instructions after we have a new tattoo. Remember, your skin is very irritated and soar, it needs to heal.
Try to put lotion every time you feel you tattoo is getting dry; you don't want to get it all flaky. If it flakes a lot, it looses it's color.
Let your tattoo out of direct sunlight for at least two weeks.
Wash it carefully without rubbing it or without hot water.
Remember this is a body art and it will stay with you forever, so make sure to take good care of your tattoo.

- Hi there, as a matter of fact, I do but mine is completely black - I wanted the iris to be white but the tattoo artist said it would wear off. Anyhow, mine was on my shoulder and not nearly as sore as I thought it would be - I believe, though, that the nearer it is to bone, the more painful it is. Blessed

- Ack, I felt sick just looking at the pictures of people getting a tattoo. I can't imagine why people deliberately seek out pain. I think it has to do with the lack of rites of passage in this society. But if you are getting a tattoo, the Eye of Horus is a nice one. I just read an article about Naomi Campbellwho built an Eco-House in Turkey in the shape of the Eye. It is really interesting.

- we all know that tattoos are cool. But for all those of you who think about, that they are just patterns that you can randomly select, permit me inform you, you are incorrect. Tattoo designs maintain meaning. Due to this that means they appeal to us at a specified placement of time. Because of to the truth there are like, a zillion, tattoo patterns, I have picked star tattoo patterns to review. Make it easy for us with each other see the concealed hints that are uncovered, if you decipher star tattoo which implies.
