My name is Matt and I own my own company. I'm not your typical British person nor your typical businessman.

I frequently upset people by telling things as they are. This has saved people from wasting their money but it has often cost businessmen sales because I give away what others sell.

I'm really keen on the idea that freedom of information can only help to make the world better. Wealth is not reliant on money but money is part of the story. True wealth is the resources needed to live a happy life and the freedom to be who you are.

I know that this is going to need money sooner or later and so am telling the world the secrets of obtaining money as and when you need it.

The picture you can see here is a diagram I created to help people like you and me understand the basics of making money. I first published it on my how to make money project site. You can read a more in depth explination on a page entitled "The Diagram Explained - The Golden Cycle".

In order to make money you need three things. Something to offer, someone to offer it to and a way to offer it to them.

The end result is that you obtain wealth in one form or another through the transaction that follows.

By returning the wealth to the process of attraction (the way of offering) you increase the number of transactions you can make and complete a cycle.

Re-read that again because it is so simple that most people miss it.

You might start with a tiny budget but spend it well on advertising you will earn enough to spend on better advertising, and better again until you are running national TV adverts during prime time TV.

It is the golden cycle of sales. It is backed up by another cycle (research) that will make your spends more efficient but it is the golden cycle that drives things.

This simple secret is so powerful that it fundamentally undermines most of the products that "gurus" try to sell.

The people most likely to expend money or time on your product or idea are unlikely to know about or care about you and what you offer until you get their attention in a way that allows you to make the offer. Having had some success you can then cycle that success back into drawing more attention.

That's how come "guru" types can afford expensive advertising - they have used the cycle to build up to a level where it pays for itself. For them the risk is always small.

The same can be true for you.
