The Good Life
Tom Good is the an irrepressibly chirpy man who wants to leave the rat-race of commuting. His wife Barbara who is initially hesitant over the plan to go self-sufficien but, mucks in with gusto. The couple don't want to leave their house for a home in the country but believe they can make it happen where they already live.Margo and Jerry try to talk their friends out of this rediculous plan, but to no avail. Eventually come to understand what Tom and Barbara are trying to do and become very protective of their friends to the extent of being overprotective parents. You see the relationship between all the characters change over time. Margo normally the butt of all jokes with no sense of humour eventually laughs at both jokes and herself.
One of the best episodes is when Tom and Barbara go to a function with Jerry and Margo, and meet Toms old boss, unfortunatly Tom is wearing his Home made wollen Suit which is bright green. Check out the "Good Life" yourselves you won't be disappointed.
