Don't Know Much About Christmas
Ah Christmas, you can't say Merry Christmas to the person waiting on you at the store selling Christmas things, with all the Christmas looking things in the store, with the basket full of things that say Christmas on them. So I'll say it for you Merry Christmas. I loved college, especiallly the fact that I was thirty when I started it. I usully hung out with the Prof's and one of my good friends from that time in my life is Dr. Ron Chritchfield. I got this quiz from Dr. Critchfield's "Life of Christ" class at the now differently named Warner Southern College. I went into this class with a smarter than anyone attitude (because I was 30) and appropriately flunked this simple test on what exactly the bible says about the Birth of Jesus. This lens is designed to help you see what we have put on our perception of Christmas from songs, and other traditions.
I think you will enjoy this quiz and find it helpful in understanding what the bible really says about the birth of Christ. The answers are at the bottom of the page. No it does not prove that Christians are actually worshiping the winter solstice so if you are a super smart college student that knows everything and you want to prove that; this is not the place.
You can only see what everyone else has answered after you answer. This way you can know your not alone if you get it wrong, and gloat, in a humble way, when you get it right. There are 18 questions Each set up in its own poll. Take your time and have fun.
Remember no peaking.

- It seems to me we can't be too sure Mary and Joseph weren't married when Jesus was born. The Luke account does seem to indicate this, but the Matthew account seems to tell a different story in Matthew 1:24-25. You did get me on a couple of others.
