Old Testament - the following books comprise the Old Testament and are listed in the grouping and order in which they are found:

"The Law" also referred to, as the Pentateuch or the Torch is comprised of 5 books: Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers and Deuteronomy.

History" comprised of 12 books, which are: Joshua, Judges, Ruth, 1 Samuel, 2 Samuel, 1 Kings, 2 Kings, 1 Chronicles, 2 Chronicles, Ezra, Nehemiah and Esther.

"Poetry and Wisdom" are comprised of 5 books, which are: Job, Psalms, Proverbs, Ecclesiastes, and Song of Solomon.

"Major Prophets" are comprised of 5 books, which are: Isaiah, Jeremiah, Lamentations, Ezekiel, and Daniel.

"Minor Prophets" are comprised of 12 books, which are: Hosea, Joel, Amos, Obadiah, Jonah, Micah, Nahum, Habakkuk, Zephaniah, Haggai, Zechariah, and Malachi.

New Testament - the following books comprise the New Testament and are listed in the grouping and order in which they are found:

"The Gospels" are comprised of 4 books: Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John.

"Acts" is comprised of one book known as Acts.

Paul's Letters (Epistles) consists of 13, which are: Romans, 1 Corinthians, 2 Corinthians, Galatians, Ephesians, Philippians, Colossians, 1 Thessalonians, 2 Thessalonians, 1 Timothy, 2 Timothy, Titus, and Philemon.

"General Epistles" consists of 8, which are: Hebrews, James, 1 Peter, 2 Peter, 1John, 2 John, 3 John, and Jude.

"Revelation" is the last book of the New Testament.
