it was a saturday night and we are all headed to the drive-in to watch Karate Kid. The kids were so excited because they really wanted to see this movie.

I was looking forward to seeing too, but gave them a hard time about it. Never say Never is on the soundtrack of the movie and I asked them who sings that.

The next day I surfed the net to find the song and found the video on Youtube. We watched that video and several others, by the end of the day we all had Bieber Fever.

While video surfing we watched "Somebody To Love Remix ft. Usher " and I thought wow Usher is singing with this kid? Who is this kid? That night I surfed the web and found the connection to Usher. I had no idea Usher Raymond was Justin's mentor. After watching this video I can certainly see the influence he has on this young artist.

I went to JustinBieberMusic.com and read his bio. The story about running into Usher in the parking lot and offering to sing for him, was really cute. I had also read that his mom travels with him all the time. I think it is admirable that she is keeping him grounded and reminds him to be a teenager first and performer later.

I was touched watching Justin give his acceptance speech at the AMA's and thanking Usher. Calling him his best friend. I really think we are going to being seeing great things from Justin Bieber for a really long time!
