Meditation Tips - Inner Sound

Inner Sound is the most powerfull object to focus your attention

I learned this techniques from books of Rajneesh - Osho. If practiced regularly it can be the most powerful way to get you into meditation state - state of awareness without thoughts.

First you need to find a place where you can sit comfortably and place your elbows on some plane surface. You can sit on a chair and place your elbows on a table.

Now plug your ears with you thumbs and place your elbows on the table. Listen to the sound that comes from within. First it can be you heartbeat or blood circulation but gradually you will start hearing the sound that is actually absence of sound. Have you ever experienced a very low level sound or ringing in absolute silence. That's the sound you are looking for.

If you practice this technique regularly you will be amazed how quickly it draws you attention and energy inward living all your thoughts and worries on the surface.

Meditation Tips - Self Inquiry

This technique can be used whenever it occures to you to use it

This technique goes under different names: self inquiry, self remembering, atma vichara etc. Such people like Gurjief, Ramana Maharhsi, Nisargadatta Maharaj advocated this technique.

In my experience this can be the most powerful technique in day-to-day, moment-by-moment life when you don't have enough time to sit in quiet meditation.

Interestingly enough it's the simplicity of this method makes it hard to explain. I will do my best to explain it to you.

The core principal of self inquiry or self remembering is to look at yourself. To pay attention to THAT we call I. If you can observe it it's not THAT. There is something which is always present. When you have been a child it was here. In any good or bad situation it's here. It is that to what we refer as I.

If you keep paying attention as much as you can you will start feeling the difference. Your perception of the world will shift dramatically. But It may take some time though.

Meditation Tips - Binaural Beats

Fast way of medition with brainwave technology

This technique of meditation actually requires some equipment. By using stereo headphone the sound gradually tunes your brainwaves into alpha, theta and delta states.

This is the most easiest way to achieve deep meditation state. All you need to do is to sit comfortably put your headphones on and listen to the sound. It will gradually "meditate you" instead of you applying the effort.
