perfect golf swingHere is my blog about obtaining The Perfect Golf Swing. You will be able to learn how you can achieve your own perfect golf swing. Golf swings are not created equal, so you must find the perfect swing for yourself.

Improving your golf swing.

It won't be easy!

Improving your golf swing and finding your perfect swing, will take a lot of hard work. You won't be able to go out every other week with your buddies and expect to improve dramatically. You will have to hit the range and put specific principles to work to obtain a better golf swing.

The perfect tempo!

How can you achieve a tempo like the pros? Well I'm going to let you in on a little secret. Every single pro, every one, has the exact same ratio of backswing to downswing.

Amazing right! And if the player feels his tempo is off or is havng a bad day, this ratio is off as well! So what is the ratio? 3 parts backwing, one part downswing.

So if you want a tempo like the pros, try this:
Next time you are on the range count during your backswing. One, two, three. You should now be at the top and starting your downswing. On four, you should make contact.

Practice this for a half bucket, and your tempo will be perfect. Also, the speed of counting does not matter, just keep it constant. This is because it is only the ratio of backswing to downswing that matters not the speed.

How to Hit Huge Drives

Ball go far?

I know you want to hit massive drives. We all do. Lucky for you, I have some simple tips you can use to add 50 yards to your drives. Sounds impossible? Believe it! Here we go:

1. Loosey Goosey
Make those hands, wrist and forearms loose and tension less. This will allow your club to have a whipping action at the bottom of your swing. All the pros do this, and all the pros hit huge drives! Try it.

2. Get a Super Long Club
This one is kind of impractical, but it works. Look at the long drive guys, they have drivers almost as long as they are. The longer your club, the faster your club head will be moving. Centrifugal force baby! 500 yard drives can't be wrong.

3. Snap Your Front Leg
Not in half! Tiger does this to gain some extra power (maybe that is why he blew his knee out?). Basically you snap your frontt leg straight on your down swing and it makes your hips rotate way faster. Your hips rotate faster, your club will rotate faster, and your ball will fly farther. Win, win, win.

So try these three things, and you just might be out driving Bubba.

Proper posture for a golf swing.

Many people are extremely confused with what the perfect posture is for a golf swing.

Some people stand too upright.

Some people hunch down way too much.

There is a happy medium and this is what we are going to find.

First off, I want your posture to feel athletic. That is the best advice for how your posture should be.

Have a straight back, or at least mostly straight, and bend your knees slightly.

If you combine the last two lines, your posture should be perfect. Posture is more about feel than anything else, so it really is your prefrence (as long as you aren't standing upright or hunched over).

So get out there and start experimenting with what feels best and what works best.

Stack and Tilt Golf Swing

For many of you the stack and tilt golf swing is the way to go. It is a very simple swing that many people, including professionals are adopting. It tries to reduce moving parts and increase repeatability. If you have not ever heard of it, check it out at the link above.
