Ween: God's gift to The Universe
Ween is a band who understands the struggle of a pony and knows when to say no to the weed whore. Boognish guides them through the journey they have taken us on. With the flamming fingers of Deaner and smooth tones of Papa Gene, they make music out of nothing. I mean it mang!

In all honesty, I heard about these guys at City Gardens (shitty garbage to locals)in Trenton New Jersey, summer of 1990. I was at a show and the sound guy, I believe who was Stu part of The Ween team, kept on announcing don't forget to come see Weeeeeeeeeeeeeen! He said it so much that everybody joined in. My buds and I had to go, we were young, we were all messing around with the same girls, it would be a hot night out, a sexy Jersey summer psuedo-punkish-skater-goth-industrial night.
My life changed at that moment and has never been the same since. If you don't know someone who loves Ween or as I like to call them (from the movie It's Pat) The Ween, then you do not know the right people. I truly believe Mickey is one of the greatest and most innovated guitarists around. I am not sure why I think it, sometimes I think he plants subliminal messages so people say that.
Go to http://www.browntracker.net and download a few hundred Ween shows and you will know what it is to be brown!!
P.S. My friends and I started the whole Weed Whore yelling thing. At least we like to believe that we did. I actually heard people yelling it on the Chicago Live DVD and cracked up.
P.P.S. There used to be this chick at all their shows, complete New Hope hippy type. She would wear overalls and tank tops. I had a huge crush on her. She a bit of the hippy smell, but living around New Hope, you absorb the smell as it poored from The Now and Then head/record shop.
You're hot overall girl wherever you are. Someone told me you are married to one of the band, but I choose to believe differently.

Ween is an alternative rock group formed in 1984 in New Hope, Pennsylvania when Aaron Freeman and Mickey Melchiondo met in an eighth grade typing class.The class was taught in the basement of the old section of New Hope-Solebury High School by teacher Barbara Slack. At the time, the electronic typewriters were considered state of the art; they were replaced by IBM x86s within 2 years. The pair became known respectively as Gene and Dean Ween.
