The good old days of "just click here" and copy/paste ideas are history. Recycled information and reused concepts will sink to the bottom as the original and viral strategies will rise to the top.
What's the saying?
"Beware of the naked man that tries to sell you a shirt"
Consumers have become more aware of the "naked" online marketers that are trying to sell their latest and greatest product full of promises of over-night success and guaranteed results.
The days of marketing to new marketers will soon be more competitive than ever. Affiliate marketing education can be found all over the internet - for free. Forums are packed with great advice and valuable resources. Consumers will no longer stand for "one shot wonders" that promise the moon, but end up disappearing into the night.
While we have been programmed to believe that the internet is a highly IMpersonal arena, we will soon find the exact opposite is true.
Online consumers will demand to be treated like a customer and will no longer stand for being treated like a sale.
Flashy banners and text PPC ads are not having the same effect on consumers as they once did. Consumers want CONTENT - they want INFORMATION - and they want less hype.
