What would we do without Rainbows?
Life just would not be the same without the colors of the Rainbow.
What you will find here: Color of course and ways to bring the Rainbows to you.
What I love about Rainbows
I don't know about you, but I love Rainbows. I get so excited when it rains and the sun is peeking out because I know I will most likely see a Rainbow. I also remember having this huge paper rainbow I had up in my room on my wall as a child and it just made me smile. Rainbows bring color to us in an beautiful way and to see one in the sky right above you is just amazing.Without rainbows the world would be a dreary place - I think.
I keep a prism on my kitchen window sill so in the morning as the sun shines I get Rainbows all throughout the room. (See them below)
What is a Rainbow?
A rainbow is merely a large band of parallel stripes, blended at the rims, which displays the full spectrum of colors that make up the sun's white light. This brilliant display appears to the naked eye when the sun's light breaks up as it passes through, the prism-like raindrops during a rain-shower.A simple way to remember the colors in a rainbow:
ROY G. BIV
or with this saying: Roy Of York Gave Battle In Vain
RED, ORANGE, YELLOW, GREEN, BLUE, INDIGO, VIOLET

So what is with that Pot of Gold we hear about?
According to legend, the leprechaun has a pot of gold hidden somewhere, and he must give up his treasure to the one who catches him.A pot of gold is said to be found at the end of the rainbow because it is simply impossible to ever reach the end of the rainbow.
So if you ever find that Pot of Gold Run, because a leprechaun may be hiding near by to take it from you.....
Gives a whole new meaning to the pot at the end of the rainbow......

Typically, rainbows are associated with rain, but that's all about to change! Let the sun shine in... this Rainbow Maker is solar powered! Place it in a sunny window and a solar panel powers the motor that turns the Swarovski crystal. The crystal splits the sun's light into rainbow-colored reflections that cast light around your room.
And when it rains on your parade, look up rather than down.
Without the rain, there would be no rainbow
Using Prisms to make Rainbows
The most common prism is a triangular piece of cut glass used to break white light up into its constituent colorsA prism can be used to break light up into its constituent spectral colors (the colors of the rainbow). Prisms can also be used to reflect light, or to split light into components with different polarizations.

Rainbows and Unicorns
I think Rainbows and Unicorns go hand in hand due to the fact they are both magical. A lot of times when you see photos of unicorns there is a rainbow close by.Unicorns And Rainbows
Unicorns and rainbows,
Innocence and dreams,
Days of magic and wonder
How long ago they seem.
In this age of hustle
Everyone going their own way,
Sometimes we need to stop
And remember yesterday.
Each day still holds magic,
If you take the time to see,
Remember unicorns and rainbows,
And keep reaching for your dreams.

- This is a really fun lense. I really enjoyed the rainbow photos. I was wondering how you made that Amazon chart (3 across and 3 down with 5 pages). I've wanted to do something like that on my lenses but haven't been able to find out how to do it.
