What Can I Eat On The Raw Food Diet
The raw food diet mainly consists of the consumption of unprocessed and uncooked foods preferably organic whole plant based foods.for example fresh fruits and vegetables, seeds, nuts, sea weed, purified water etc. It's believed that by eating these foods raw enzymes that help digestion aren't destroyed.A typical breakfast on the raw food diet consists of fresh fruit salad topped with chopped fresh almonds. wheat germ and pumkin seeds. You could also serve it with low fat yogurt or coconut cream.
For lunch try serving mixed salad leaves, sliced tomatoes, chopped sweet peppers, sliced red onion and chopped parsley or corriander. Drizzle virgin olive oil with a teaspoon of freshly squeezed lemon juice and a dash of balsamic vinegar dressing. Add sprouted lentils for extra nutrients.
For dinner or the main meal of the day try making a soup from raw mixed vegetables which can be blended to make it smooth and serve with home made sunflower seed rolls topped with cheese. For a delicious desert try rasberry and banana sorbet.
It's important to drink plenty of water throughout the day to elimate toxins, but you could also try fresh fruit juices, fruit smoothies and coconut milk for a change.

The body cannot digest cooked processed foods as well as raw whole foods as they don't contain the digestive enzymes needed for proper digestion. As a result the body has to find enzymes from within itself.This diet though may not be suitable for pregnant women, people with the anemia, people with the risk of developing osteoporosis and children. However there are many women who have experienced successful pregnancies on the raw food diet and some suggest that it's not the raw food diet but the insufficient variety and quantities that is the cause of concern in children

Grown sprouts up to couple of days should be used and mix of soft and sometime hard ones can be eaten.

In a healthy digestive system B12 is produced in the colon, but as most people don't have a very healthy digestive tract you must take it in food or dietary supplements.
